I watched about 2 minutes of this and intend to get back later to it, kind of busy this AM, but the main question has finally formulated in my brain about BAM.
So everything is in one file for this. Now is this my own private instance or is it part of a giant complex or everyone's instance, which might make sharing easier?
Basically I make a Hello World program and want to save it for later edit or copy/paste into another BAM project... how does that work?
If I don't have to download then it must be stored in cloud / server but as my own private instance or ?
I never worked the other end of a Wiki.
Maybe this question should go somewhere else but watching beginning part of video made it clear my stumbling block.

If I don't have to download then it must be stored in cloud / server but as my own private instance or ? I never worked the other end of a Wiki. Maybe this question should go somewhere else but watching beginning part of video made it clear my stumbling block. There's a lot to unpack to explain it all. Typically, wiki software is on a server with possibly a database back end if not flat files. And had multi-user built-into it's DNA. TiddlyWiki is often referred to as a "personal wiki": multi-user is not in the DNA. However, you can have TiddlyWiki running on a nodejs server, and then you get into pretty decent multi-user capability. Not as good as the built-for-multiuser wiki's, but really close. And TiddlyWiki on nodejs becomes really interesting when setup as a "TiddlyWiki Farm". Back to single-user TiddlyWiki ... Although "single-user", TiddlyWiki makes sharing between instances ridiculously easy. Drag and drop a wiki page (called "tiddlers", in TiddlyWiki; a "tiddler" is otherwise known as a "very tiny fish" which travels in large schools in England.) Or export one or more tiddlers to a package, share that package, and folk can drag and drop the package into another TiddlyWiki instance. With the right processes/workflows (and even some custom-built-and-added functionality), a bunch of instances can be just as good and even make more sense than a multi-user server scenario. Man, easy for me to get right wordy in no time ...

In the last couple minutes of the video, I show how to download the version of BASIC Anywhere Machine I have hosted on the web, so that you can have your own version of it. I'll have to do a follow-up video of how to use your copy (saved to your hard drive, or USB thumbdrive, or SD card, or online file hosting service. There are a ton of choices. (See the TiddlyWiki GettingStarted page.) ADDED: When you create a program in BAM, that program exists as a Wiki page inside of BAM. When you save, you actually save "all of BAM" (the one file that it is), back to your storage area. You can never lose any bits and pieces or need to track where they are. Everything is there, in that one file.

Thanks Charlie, I've picked some more bits from what you posted at QB64pe forum too.
Having the questions formed in mind, it is easier to search for answers.

If you don't mind my wordiness as I struggle to parse this intertwingled mess of stuff in my sponge (concise and coherent summarising is not my forte), then please ask anything anytime !

heh ....Charlie attack with new features all that is fine ...but you should ask yourself ...why is such a low interest for BAM 1.BAM is complex and unclear to most BASIC programmers 2. most of us don't use js or node or whatever similar( or we are stupid for such a stuff...i am ) 3.there is no real benefit of using BAM over ..for example QBJS or similar products no mather how much you are brave in your explanation 4.different look in different browsers (blurish graphics) 5. your super-enthusiasam become borring( reason why i removed you from basic4all forum) ..and really posting here .... ...i just visited this place to check my proboard accounts...ahh stupid me anyway good luck!

The interest in BAM is good enough for me. Even if there wasn't any, my own interest in it sustains me. It wasn't enough for you to bully me and harass me elsewhere, now you are going to start up again here? I feel sad for you, but I have no use for you and no energy to deal with the likes of you. You are poison to me.

Yikes! Aurel
Basic should still be #1 for Beginners, #1 on Pi and Telephones and #1 for Internet, what happened?
In fighting probably... people let special self interests distort their longer range views ie survival.
